Yesterday was an amazing day for all of our students!! They got to hear about different careers from our presenters. Below are just some of the pictures of this amazing experience. Our goal with career day is for students to hear about a variety of careers and consider them for their future.

 National School Counseling Week!! 

Starting next week Feb. 7 - Feb. 11 we celebrate and give thanks to all School Counselors. At my campus, my partner and I take the time to promote our program and all of the great things we do at school. These are just two of the treats they will be receiving throughout the week. Don't forget to thanks a School Counselor 🙂👍

 

School Counselor!!! 

I have been out of the classroom and now in the role of Elementary School Counselor for the last six years. My goal is to get back to blogging about all the awesome things I do at my school. Being a school counselor is extremely rewarding and mentally tiring, but I wouldn't change what I am doing for nothing in the world. 

After we came back from Christmas break I wanted to create a bulletin board reminding all of our students of the things that they are in control of. I was thankful when I heard a couple of students reading it as they were walking by 👍
